Scrambled Tofu
For 1 Person
Ingredients:
2 cakes firm tofu
1 onion, sliced
1 teaspoon nutritional yeast
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon Eden - olive oil
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Method:
1. Saute onion in 1 teaspoon Eden - olive oil, then add tofu and stir fry a few minutes.
2. Add turmeric to get desired color and then add sea salt and nutritional yeast to taste. Scrambled tofu has the appearance of scrambled eggs.
Nutritional Fact:
A better replacement for eggs. Has no cholesterol and high in protein, cancer protective phytochemical (isoflavones and lignans), nutrients and minerals. A favourite among our health guests and children. |
